How To Use Statistics in Easy Dropbox Integration?

Estimated reading: 2 minutes 30 views

Easy Dropbox Integration Premium’s Statistics module tracks downloads, uploads, previews, streams, and searches across your Dropbox files, and shows them on a dedicated dashboard with charts, top files, top users, an event log, CSV export, and optional scheduled email reports.

Step 1: Enable Statistics

  • Go to Settings → Statistics from the Easy Dropbox Integration dashboard.
  • Turn on Enable Statistics and save. Events are only logged while this is on.

Step 2: Open the Statistics Page

  • Go to Dropbox → Statistics in the WordPress admin menu.
  • Use the From and To date fields at the top to pick the range you want to review (defaults to the last 30 days).

Step 3: Review the Dashboard

  • The summary tiles show total Downloads, Uploads, Previews, Streams, and Searches for the selected range.
  • The Events / Day chart shows a daily breakdown of activity across the range.
  • Each event type has its own Top Files and Top Users tables, so you can see which files and which people are most active.
  • The All Event Logs table at the bottom lists every individual event with its file, user, and date — click Load more to page through older events.

Step 4: Export or Clear Data

  • Click Export CSV on the toolbar to download the full event log for the selected date range, or use the export button on any Top Files table to download just that list.
  • Click Clear Statistics to permanently delete all logged events — this cannot be undone.

Step 5: Set Up Email Reports (Optional)

  • Go back to Settings → Statistics and turn on Enable Email Reporting.
  • Choose an Email Report Frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
  • Enter one or more Email Report Recipients, separated by commas, then save. Each recipient gets a summary email with totals for the period and a link back to the full dashboard.
