How To Connect Dropbox to Your Dokan Vendor Store

The Easy Dropbox Integration plugin adds Dropbox support to Dokan multivendor stores: each vendor connects their own Dropbox account — kept fully separate from other vendors and from the site admin’s own connected accounts — and can attach files from it to their products, either as purchase-protected downloadable files or as plain attached files like a spec sheet or manual.

Step 1: Enable the Dokan Module

• Go to Settings → Modules → Dokan from the Easy Dropbox Integration dashboard and enable it.
• A Dropbox tab appears under Settings on every vendor’s own store dashboard, and a Dropbox Files section appears on the product editor.

Step 2: Connect Your Own Dropbox Account

• As a vendor, go to your store dashboard’s Settings → Dropbox tab.
• Click Connect Dropbox Account and sign in to Dropbox in the popup that opens.
• Once connected, your account appears in the list with Set Active and Disconnect options.

This account is yours alone — other vendors, and the site admin’s own account switcher, never see it.

Step 3: Add Purchase-Protected Downloadable Files

• Edit a product and enable the Downloadable option.
• In the Downloadable Options section, click Choose from Dropbox next to the native Downloadable Files list.
• Pick one or more files from your connected account and confirm.
• The picked files are added to the product’s Downloadable Files list — customers can download them after purchase, the same as any other downloadable file.

Step 4: Attach Files to a Product

• On any product, open the Dropbox Files section.
• Click Choose from Dropbox and pick one or more files — a spec sheet, a manual, a sample, anything not gated behind purchase.
• Remove a file from the list at any time with the × next to it.

Step 5: Save & Publish

Update the product as usual — the connected Dropbox account and any attached or downloadable files are saved with it.
