How To Use Dropbox Upload Field With Gravity Forms?

The Easy Dropbox Integration plugin extends Gravity Forms with a dedicated Dropbox Upload field. It lets visitors upload files directly to your connected Dropbox account from any Gravity Forms form, with full control over target folders, file-type restrictions, and upload behavior.

Step 1: Enable the Gravity Forms Module

• Go to Settings → Modules → Gravity Forms from the Easy Dropbox Integration dashboard.
• Once enabled, the Dropbox Upload field becomes available in the Gravity Forms editor.

Step 2: Add the Dropbox Upload Field

• Edit (or create) a Gravity Forms form.
• Open the Easy Dropbox Integration field group in the fields panel and add the Dropbox Upload field.
• Click Configure Uploader in the field’s settings to open the upload configuration modal.

Step 3: Configure Module Settings

• Filters
  • Allowed Extensions: Enter comma-separated file types (e.g., jpg, jpeg, png). Leave empty to allow all file types.
  • Allow All Files Except: Allow all file types and exclude only the extensions listed in Except.
  • Except: File extensions to block when Allow All Files Except is enabled.
  • Max File Uploads: Maximum number of files a user can upload at once.
  • Max File Size (MB): Maximum size allowed per upload.
  • Min File Size (MB): Minimum size required per upload.
• Advanced
  • Module Container (Width & Height): Custom size of the uploader area.
  • Form Heading / Form Description: Title and instruction text shown above the uploader.
  • Enable Folder Upload: Allow uploading entire folders instead of individual files.
  • File/Folder Upload Button Label: Customize the selection button text.
  • Show Upload Confirmation / Upload Confirmation Message: Show a customizable success message after upload.
  • Upload Immediately / Enable Upload Button: Upload as soon as files are selected, or require a manual upload click.

Step 4: Make the Field Required (optional)

Enable Gravity Forms’ standard Required field setting if the form should not submit until at least one file has been uploaded.

Step 5: Publish the Form

Add the form to any page, post, or widget as usual — the Dropbox Upload field appears automatically. Uploaded files show as a linked, downloadable list in form entries, email notifications, and CSV exports.
